Halimatou Hamida Moumoni graduated from BCC, earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from City College and completed an Internship with the Permanent Mission of Niger at the United Nations. Hamida reflected that “Learning the concept of the sociological imagination in Professor Polanco’s class changed my life. My class journey revealed the complexity of society. I recognized the profound influence of class stratification. Motivated by the rising peer of humanity, I advocate for understanding and equity in my professional pursuits.
