Student Town HallThe 2023 Fall Student Town Hall gave students a chance to receive information, provide comments and ask questions related to their experiences at BCC. Moderated by Vice President for Student Success Irene R. Delgado and Associate Dean for Student Development Manny Lopez on Zoom, the meeting addressed topics such as early registration for spring ‘24 classes, academic advising and additional resources available to students.

Interim President Dr. Milton Santiago delivered introductory remarks, welcoming students and encouraging students to participate in the discussion. He called attention to the depth of resources available. “I hope your experience here at BCC so far has been a positive one, and if not, we will endeavor to try to make it so,” Dr. Santiago said. “We have so many resources here at BCC to help you.”

Student Government Association (SGA) President Krishta Fernandez joined the meeting and echoed Dr. Santiago’s sentiments. “There are things that you wouldn’t even realize we have help for here on this campus, and we have the help in abundance,” she said.

She added, “There is so much greatness when you walk through those gates to help you move past BCC. BCC is here to set the foundation for your future. There is no shame, no weakness in asking for help. I and so many others are proof of that.”
