Workshop Helps Students Master Interviews with Confidence, Connection, and Authenticity
BCC in partnership with Blackstone LaunchPad at CUNY and the ASAP program hosted a dynamic workshop titled “Master Interviews with Confidence, Connection, and Authenticity” on April 23, 2025. Supported by the Morgan Stanley Career Exploration Fund, the event was led by Amy Lee Miller, a renowned career strategist, recruiter, and author known for her practical, candid approach to career readiness.
Drawing from her book Ready Set Recruit, Miller guided students through the essentials of presenting themselves authentically in interviews while effectively communicating their unique stories. The workshop offered students actionable strategies to approach interviews with clarity and composure, emphasizing the importance of emotional management and personal connection.
Open to all BCC students applying for summer internships or jobs, the workshop exemplifies BCC’s commitment to equipping students with the essential skills to thrive in competitive job markets.
