BCC Names Sabine Rospide, Esq. as Chief Campus Counsel and Labor Designee

Ms. Rospide is a dedicated public servant who has worked for a myriad of different city agencies over the years. Previously, served as Assistant General Counsel at the New York City Fire Department where she partnered with executive and managerial leadership to develop workplace policies, training initiatives, and litigation strategy. She represented the Fire Department before the EEOC, New York State Division of Human Rights, and NYC Commission on Human Rights; drafted inter-agency agreements, access agreements, and filming contracts; served as an Appeals Officer in disciplinary proceedings; handled FOIL appeals; and supported witness preparation while liaising with the New York City Law Department.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Rospide served as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel, acting as lead counsel in more than 65 trials and managing a high-volume litigation docket. She represented the Commissioner of the Administration for Children’s Services in civil proceedings, handled all phases of litigation, conducted extensive legal research, negotiated favorable settlements, and successfully reduced trial caseloads through strategic resolution.
Ms. Rospide is a proud member of the New York City Bar Association, Metropolitan Black Bar Association and National Association of Colleges & University Attorneys.
Ms. Rospide earned her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School.
