BCC Foundation Board Member Doris Gonzalez will take on the reins as Acting President of the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC). Doris has spent her career expanding access to higher education – overseeing 30+ financial aid programs that help New Yorkers pay for college and supporting hundreds of thousands of students each year.

“This is a well-deserved appointment and a testament to her leadership, integrity, and commitment to expanding access and opportunity for students across New York State. We are proud to see her step into this important role and represent our community on a statewide stage,” said BCC Foundation President Eddy Bayardelle.
