BCC Partners with Climb Together to Pilot AI Career Coach

  Update   •

Climb TogetherBronx Community College announced a new partnership with Climb Together to pilot Goldi, an AI-enabled career coach designed to help students and alumni connect to meaningful jobs and internships. BCC is the second CUNY institution – and one of only a handful of community colleges nationwide – partnering with Climb Together on this innovative initiative.

“This partnership reflects BCC’s dedication to equipping our students with both the skills and connections needed to thrive in the workforce,” said Jessica Seliger, Dean of Workforce Development & Continuing Education. “Goldi brings cutting-edge technology to career readiness, helping learners leverage their social capital to unlock great job opportunities.”

Goldi is a highly empathetic AI coach that guides learners through realistic, voice-based role-playing; helps craft personalized outreach to alumni and professionals on LinkedIn; and provides immediate feedback to strengthen networking and professional skills. Combined with Climb Together’s social capital curriculum, the program is designed to provide learners with tools to navigate real-world career opportunities with confidence.

“Climb Together is elated to be working with BCC to bring Goldi, the AI career coach, to jobseekers. We know that relationships are key to unlocking jobs and referrals. We are so excited to help students build the skills and know-how to access the hidden job market and reach out to BCC alumni that can lead to opportunity,” said Nitzan Pelman, CEO and Founder of Climb Together.

The initiative was made possible through a collaborative fundraising effort and will be led by the Office of Career Development and First Year Program. In Fall 2026, BCC faculty across disciplines will integrate the tool into their syllabi, demonstrating BCC’s commitment to career-connected learning and expanding opportunities for its community. All students will have access to the tool through the Office of Career Development and their advisors.

The pilot will inform a broader rollout, helping BCC to continue to innovate in career preparation and ensure that every graduate has the tools to succeed. You can learn more here!
