Student Email Transition: Deadline Approaching for Legacy Email Access
Bronx Community College students are reminded that the transition to the new CUNY student email system is nearing completion.
June 12 Deadline
Students will lose access to their legacy email accounts (@stu.bcc.cuny.edu) on June 12, 2026.
What You Need to Do
Students who have not already done so should take immediate action to preserve any important files:
- Save all OneDrive data from your old (@stu.bcc.cuny.edu) account before the deadline.
- Ensure you are actively using your new CUNY student email account (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu).
What to Expect After June 12
- Email messages from your old account will continue to be migrated into your new CUNY email account.
- Email forwarding will remain active, so messages sent to your old @stu.bcc.cuny.edu address will still reach you.
- However, you will no longer be able to sign in or access the old mailbox or its OneDrive storage.
