Bronx Community College is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Distinguished Alumni Award, which honors alumni whose professional achievements, leadership, and service reflect the excellence of the College.

This annual recognition celebrates graduates who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities, while inspiring pride across the BCC community. Award recipients are recognized as role models, and their portraits are displayed in North Hall and the Library.

Nominations may be submitted by alumni, faculty, staff, and retirees. Eligible nominees must have graduated from BCC or completed at least 30 credits at least 10 years ago, and demonstrate sustained professional achievement, service to their community or the College, and a strong record of integrity and leadership. Nominees must also be available to attend the induction ceremony.

To nominate an individual, please submit the nominee’s name, class year, professional title, brief bio, contact information, and a short explanation of why they should be considered.

Submit your nomination by Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
