We are dedicated to empowering and inspiring students to prepare for and secure internships and employment opportunities aligned with their academic and professional goals.
To fulfill this mission, we deliver robust job readiness training, career-focused workshops, information sessions, mentorship and access to internships, fellowships and volunteer experiences through both in-person and remote modalities. Jourdan Lemieque-Degnan is the Founder and Executive Director of Agentcy Collective, where he blends his background in business development, finance and cultural initiatives with a passion for connecting people to opportunities. With experience building partnerships, strengthening donor relationships and driving community-focused growth, he leads Agentcy with both strategy and heart.
Known as a natural relationship builder, Jourdan thrives on creating meaningful connections—whether with board members, partners or new clients. His ability to bring people together, foster collaboration, and keep relationships growing has been key to Agentcy’s expanding impact.
Jourdan’s inspiration comes from his own story of adoption and upbringing at the age of seven — an experience that fuels his mission to extend the same helping hand he once received. After serving as COO of Career Gear, where the focus was solely on young men, he founded Agentcy Collective to take a more inclusive approach — supporting both men and women across all ages and career paths in achieving their goals.
Agentcy is a non-profit that promotes “agency” in the sense of independence. Agentcy was founded with the mission to bridge the gap for recent graduates from underserved communities and young veterans reentering the workforce — individuals with the drive to succeed but limited access to opportunity.
