At Bronx Community College, we celebrate two outstanding Bronx Community College students whose hard work and dedication have earned them prestigious scholarships:

Shawn Comis, Computer Information Systems

Recipient of the 2025–2026 BCC Foundation Con Edison STEM Scholarship and the 2025 New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Shawn is pursuing an Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems, holds a 3.9 GPA, and will graduate in Spring 2026.

Selma Torres, Health Sciences

Recipient of the 2025 New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Selma is pursuing an Associate Degree in Health Sciences, maintains a 4.0 GPA, and is expected to graduate in Summer 2028.
