A nationally recognized organizational development strategist, leadership coach and program architect, Errol Olton serves as Executive Chief of Staff & Special Advisor to President Dr. Larry Johnson, Jr.
Throughout his career, Olton has collaborated with senior leadership to align internal operations with external opportunities. He brings to BCC a strong record of designing and managing higher education workforce and education-based initiatives that contribute to increased enrollment, including a 33-credit Cybersecurity Certificate Program, which resulted in an 85% completion rate its first year. He also led a federally funded Title V grant as Director of Learning and Innovation at Guttman Community College.
Olton’s expertise has been featured in Success Magazine and by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). A TEDx speaker and recipient of multiple awards, his honors include the NISOD Excellence Award for Workforce Innovation, U.S. Congressional Recognition for Community Impact, the NAACP President’s Award for Community Service, and the HSBC Cares Award for Educational Impact.
