Charmaine Harvey serves as Deputy Director overseeing investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse, bringing more than 31 years of experience in criminal justice and investigative leadership. A seasoned professional with a deep commitment to public integrity, Ms. Harvey has led complex investigations and implemented strategic solutions to safeguard organizational resources and ensure accountability.

She holds both a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in criminal justice and is a proud member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Throughout her distinguished career, she has earned a reputation for excellence in investigative oversight, ethical leadership, and mentorship within the field.

As an educator, Ms. Harvey’s teaching philosophy is centered on fostering critical thinking, real world application, and integrity. She believes in empowering students by connecting academic concepts to current criminal justice issues and investigative practices, preparing them to become thoughtful, ethical professionals in the criminal justice field. She currently teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Corrections, and Introduction to Policing.
