Special Graduation Luncheon Held for ASAP Students

  Update   •

ASAP LunchBronx Community College’s Accelerated Study in Academic Programs (ASAP) recently honored its graduating Class of 2026 at the program’s annual Graduation Luncheon, bringing together students, their families, advisors and staff.  As students completed their BCC journeys and prepared for the next chapter of their academic and professional lives, the luncheon provided an opportunity to reflect on their accomplishments and the support that helped them reach graduation.

A new addition to this year’s celebration, the Grad Wisdom Wall, invited graduates to share messages of encouragement and inspiration for future ASAP students.

“As you begin your next chapter – whether transferring to a four-year institution, advancing your career, or pursuing new opportunities – I hope you carry with you the confidence that comes from knowing what you are capable of achieving,” said ASAP Director Melanie Robles.

For many graduates, the luncheon was both a celebration and a meaningful farewell. “The ASAP Grad Luncheon was a perfect ending to my time with the ASAP program,” said graduate Maribel Vitetta. “This program has been my support system for almost two years, and it was exciting to gather one last time with my advisor, ASAP staff, and peers. The Grad Wall was a nice touch, and the messages were inspiring.”

Congratulations to the ASAP graduates and the entire Bronx Community College Class of 2026.
