Student Eligibility
To be eligible for federal and state aid, students must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or eligible non-citizen
- Meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standard for federal student aid programs
- Have a valid Social Security Number if applicable
- Have a high school or state-approved home school graduate or have a GED
- Not be convicted of possessing or selling illegal drugs while receiving financial aid
- Not be in default of a federal loan or owe an overpayment on a federal grant or Federal Perkins Loan
- Certify that you will use any federal student aid funds awarded to you solely for educational purposes
You must also:
- Enroll in an eligible program of study at the College
- Enroll for at least six credits to be eligible for federal loans
