A Student Town Hall presented information about commencement, COVID guidelines, class schedules and other information of interest to BCC students.

The President announced that this year’s commencement on Friday, June 3 will be in-person and on campus. Students are advised they must registered for commencement. Each student will be allowed two guests.  This is the first time since 2019 that graduation ceremonies will be held on campus.

College awards will be given out on Wednesday, June 1. Students can nominate themselves for an award or a fellow student.

In addition, all students registered for in person or hybrid classes must upload their CDC card on the CUNY First site. Students seeking a medical or exemption must also submit this information, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students were reminded that they no longer need to wear a mask on campus.
