Tutoring Program
Tutoring for History, Geography, and Philosophy is available for free. We offer In Person (CO 345), Online, Walk Ins and Appointments. Our wonderful tutors Sabrina and Jason are here to support you. We recommend that you visit them consistently throughout the semester, rather than cram before an exam or important assignment deadline. Bring your syllabus, assignment instructions, & relevant readings. But if you don’t know where to start, and you’re totally lost, then just show up. The History tutors will help guide you.

Summer Tutoring Hours
Meet with our wonderful tutor Sabrina Torres as you work on your History, Geography, and Philosophy classes during this summer session. Sabrina will be in person (Writing Center, Sage Hall) and online (Zoom). Walk ins and Appointments welcome.

Register for Classes
The History Department offers courses in a wide range of modalities to suit your schedule. We have In Person, Hybrid, Online Synchronous, and Online Asynchronous as well as Honors sections and Writing Intensives across our History, Geography, and Philosophy classes.
In Spring 2026 we are offering classes in Modern World History, U.S. History, History of Latinos in the U.S., Caribbean History, History of the Modern Middle East, the History of New York City, Geography, and Philosophy. Get advised and one step closer to graduation!
