ePermit allows matriculated CUNY students to request permission from their Home College to take courses at another CUNY institution (the Host College). To receive approval, students must meet the Home College’s eligibility requirements. The ePermit application is available through the student’s CUNYfirst account.

Approval of an ePermit by the Home College does not enroll the student in the Host College’s course, nor does it guarantee a seat. Once the ePermit is approved, the student must register for the course directly in Schedule Builder during the Host College’s assigned enrollment appointment.
