When Electronic Engineering Technology student Everton Hunt‑Brown took the stage at BCC’s State of the College, he spoke from lived experience. Having returned to BCC with a clear goal — to move from installing electrical systems to designing them — he balances fatherhood, work, and campus leadership, reflecting the winding yet rewarding path of student success.
She Left College During COVID. Now She Helps Others Return.
One phone call brought Aryanna Chiraunjilal back to Bronx Community College after the pandemic — and changed the direction of her life. Now, as she trains to become an advisor with CUNY Reconnect and NYSOP, she’s helping other students rediscover their path to graduation.
From Work-Study Student to IT Assistant Director: Albania Nicasio Now Leads BCC’s Training Office
Albania Nicasio began her career at Bronx Community College as a work‑study student and never stopped learning. Today, as Assistant Director of IT and head of the Training Office, she helps students, faculty, and staff build the skills they need to succeed.
