Our Speech Laboratory helps students improve their speech patterns for both professional and personal use. At the Speech Lab students work with the latest computer software in a user-friendly environment. The instructional software allows for self-directed and self-monitored pacing, but additional assistance is also available from staff members working under the expert direction of Dr. Joël Magloire of the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences. The Speech Lab resource is available to students throughout their years at BCC. Individuals are encouraged to use the lab whether they were recommended by their individual teachers or whether they want to work on speech on their own.

The Speech Lab is located in Colston Hall, Room 738 and is open Monday through Saturday. Visit the lab or call the lab – 718-289-5758 – to find out the specific hours of operation.
