Google Scholarships

Google Lime Scholarship: To help university students with disabilities work toward their academic goals in the field of computer science.

Generation Google Scholarship: Established to help aspiring students pursuing computer science degrees excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive $10,000. Students that identify with groups historically excluded from the technology industry, including Women, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, American Indian, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander are encouraged to apply.

Google Student Veterans of America Scholarship: Provides assistance to student veterans who are pursuing university degrees in the field of computer science in the U.S.

Health Resources & Services Administration Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

Eligible nursing students can apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program (Nurse Corps SP).

If accepted:

  • Pay your tuition, fees, and other educational costs.
  • You must work at a Critical Shortage Facility (CSF) when you graduate.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a United States citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
  • Be enrolled—or accepted for enrollment—in a professional nursing degree program at an accredited school of nursing in the U.S.
  • Begin classes no later than September 30
  • Have no federal judgment liens
  • Have no existing service commitment
  • Not be overdue on a federal debt

Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund

The Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund is a joint partnership between LNESC & Macy’s to provide financial resources to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary need that, if not met, could result in an inability to complete classes or a degree program.

Emergency financial need resulting from the following will qualify students for funding:

  • Change in family income/support
  • Loss of job
  • Death of an immediate family member
  • Natural disaster
  • Pending eviction or home foreclosure
  • Burglary
  • Fire

NBCUniversal Media Scholarship

The NBCUniversal Media Scholarship Program is intended to assist and encourage outstanding undergraduate Latino students attending a U.S. post-secondary institution with an interest in the media and entertainment industry. The Program awards ten (10) $5,000 national scholarships to qualified rising sophomores and juniors and is sponsored by NBCUniversal and administered by the LULAC National Educational Service Centers (LNESC).
