My First 100 Days

We are on the verge of a truly transformative chapter for our college, and I am excited to share with you the launch of my 100-day roadmap—an essential first step toward the bold vision of The Bronx Renaissance 2031 Strategic Plan. This roadmap is a call to action—a chance for all of us to rise together, reimagine what’s possible for our college, and passionately deliver on that vision.

In the coming months, we will ignite our very own renaissance. This movement will focus on preparing our students for thriving academic and career pathways while deepening their connection to the vibrant heart of New York City. I look forward to meeting with each of you, learning about what drives you, the possibilities you imagine for this institution, and the passion that fuels your work. Together, we will seize this moment to reshape how we engage with partners, measure our impact, and tap into the collective power of our community to create real, lasting change.

This is our time. This 100-day plan—and the strategic vision for 2031—will chart a bold course forward, one that embraces innovation, celebrates the fierce spirit of our Bronco mascot, and enhances our legacy as a beacon of opportunity for all.

Let’s build the future, today.

100 Day Presidential Roadmap

A Multi-phased Approach

The first 100 of this presidency mark not just a period of transition but a profound opportunity to listen, learn, and lead together. Through one-on-one meetings with college faculty, staff, and community stakeholders, I captured the true spirit of community of BCC.

I sought to ground my approach and strategy in how BCC can truly serve the community — the same community which our students return home to each night. For if we are to be a community college, both in principle and practice, we must be grounded in student success and institutional excellence.

This phase centered on understanding the needs, aspirations, and lived experiences of students, faculty, and staff—laying the foundation for a culture of belonging and transparency.
