If you believe you’ve been impacted by a security threat and have already responded to a phishing email, it’s critical to act immediately to protect your account and data. Here’s what you should do:
✅ Steps to Take Immediately:
- Stop any further interaction with the suspicious email (do not click additional links or reply).
- Change your CUNYFirst account password.
- Contact the IT Service Desk:
- Email: Tsc@bcc.cuny.edu
- Report the phishing email:
- Forward it to: ReportSpam@bcc.cuny.edu
- Monitor your account for any suspicious activity and report anything unusual right away.
