Spring Nursing and Pharmacy Transfer Fair
Nurses and pharmacists are two of the most rewarding careers in the medical field.
Nurses work to promote health, prevent disease, and assist patients with illnesses. Nurses are crucial to the healthcare industry.A combination of an aging population and a shrinking nursing workforce has resulted in numerous job vacancies. According to New York State Department of Health, New York is facing an estimated shortage of more than 39,000 registered nurses by 2030.
Pharmacy is a blend of science, health care, patient interaction, and technology. Pharmacists are highly skilled and trusted experts in medication. The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment of pharmacists to grow in hospital and clinic settings.
The Nursing & Pharmacy Transfer Fair gives BCC students an opportunity to explore four-year degree programs outside of the CUNY system.
