Macaulay Honors College Friedman Transfer Scholars Program Fall 2026 Information Session (Co-sponsored with the First Year Program)

Learn about The Friedman Transfer Scholars Program at Macaulay Honors College. This program offers a seamless pathway for associate degree-seeking students to transfer  to Macaulay Honors College at one of the partner campuses (Baruch, Brooklyn, City,

Hunter, John Jay, Lehman, Queens, and the College of Staten Island) after graduation.

Students should be on track to graduate during the Spring 2028 semester and pursuing an A.A. or A.S. Degree. (Nursing and Architecture are not included)

During the session, admission requirements, the application process, benefits, and more will be discussed. This session will also include a special workshop designed to help you submit your best application!

The Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship Roundtable Discussion (Co-sponsored with the LGBTQI+ Resource Room)

Point Foundation offers a range of scholarships for LGBTQ+ and ally students attending postsecondary institutions across the United States.

Flagship Scholarship recipients receive financial support, access to leadership development programs,  and the support of a community of scholars and alumni.  

Amount: Financial award based on need, renewable for up to four years of support.

Funding Period: Awarded Scholars will start their scholarship in the fall 2026 term, with a maximum of four years of support.

The roundtable will explore the application requirements and essays.
