New Faculty Seminar
The New Faculty Seminar provides a comprehensive orientation for newly hired BCC full-time faculty by fostering a professional development path in career planning, pedagogy and assessment in their first 18 months. Critical to the nine-month seminar are the building of peer and mentor relationships, exposure to resources and technology, guidance in the reappointment and career planning process, and development of teaching portfolios and assessment projects.
