10 Steps to Complete the Advisement and Registration Process

Access OSSES

Schedule an appointment with your faculty academic advisor or view the advisement schedule for your academic department in OSSES.

Print DegreeSolutions Audit

Access the CUNY Portal to review degree requirements before your advisement appointment.

Meet with your faculty academic advisor

Students must meet with an advisor to discuss the required courses needed for the next semester. If a student is unable to keep an advisement appointment, he/she must consult with their department for alternate advisement times. Once advised, student's advisement service indicator (hold) will be cleared for registration.

Check your eAdvisement Form

Access OSSES to view the course you are required to register for.

Check your BCC email

For complete information on the registration schedule, check your BCC email.

Claim your CUNYfirst Account

You must activate your account to use CUNYfirst.

View your Enrollment Appointment

Access CUNYfirst to see the date and time that you may begin to register for classes. All holds that affect enrollment must be cleared prior to enrolling.

Search for available classes

Register for Classes

Access CUNYfirst and select the enroll link on the Student Center page to open up the registration component. Students can register online from home or college computer labs on campus. Click here Student Enrollment Quick Guide

Pay Tuition and Fees

Tuition charges will be billed to your student account and may be viewed online through CUNYfirst after registering for classes. All students must pay their bill by the due date on the bill. Click here for Tuition and Fees and Payment Options
