All students, faculty and staff now have access to the Wall Street Journal. All you need to set up your complimentary account is your BCC e-mail address.

New York Times Digital

The New York Times Digital is now available to all current CUNY students, faculty and staff! A NYTimes academic pass provides you with full access to and the smartphone apps for 1 year from the date you activate it. You must use your BCC email account to access this free service.

CUNY OneSearch

CUNY OneSearch lets you search in one place for books, articles, DVDs, CDs, and more. CUNY OneSearch combines, in one searchable place, these three things: the CUNY library catalog; a massive index of articles from journals, magazines and newspapers, and unique digital content from CUNY libraries.

CUNYfirst provides students with a range of functionalities, from searching for classes, planning for future courses, enrolling in classes, making online payments and viewing on demand personal, academic and financial information.


Blackboard is Bronx Community College’s on-line course management system, giving you access to class documents, assignments and readings, and professor and student contact information. To access your course(s) on Blackboard, you need to login using your CUNYfirst username followed by and your CUNYfirst password.

Student Email

The Bronx Community College student e-mail system is a web-based service, provided by Microsoft’s Office 365. This service is a building-block in providing feature-rich set of tools for collaboration using Microsoft cloud-based products like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


OSSES stands for One Stop Shop Electronic Services. This Portal holds a collection of components that streamline the day-to-day academic and administrative operations providing faculty, staff and students with information and services ranging from semester progress reports to bill printing, skills placements, BCC email account claiming and resetting, and much more.

CUNY Portal

A portal, on the Internet, can be best described as a gateway to general information. The CUNY portal is a gateway to all things CUNY: college websites, information about applying to CUNY, events, campus directories, etc.
