Welcome to CUNY Explorers at Bronx Community College

CUNY Explorers is an exciting college-access initiative that gives NYC public school students in grades 6–10 the chance to experience college life firsthand through guided campus visits, engaging activities, and meaningful interactions with current CUNY students. Launched by The City University of New York in partnership with the NYC Department of Education, Explorers helps young learners build confidence, imagine their futures, and start planning for college success early.

At Bronx Community College, set on our scenic University Heights campus, visiting students enjoy interactive walking tours, explore academic departments like Automotive Technology and Media and Film, and take part in hands-on college readiness sessions that make learning come alive.
