ELIGIBILITY

is a citizen or permanent resident or an individual who demonstrate that they are in the U.S. for other than a temporary purpose; from a low-income and potential first-generation household

•  2/3 of participants must be low-income and first-generation.
• 1/3 of participants must show a need for TS program services.

Low-income individual: An individual from a family whose taxable income for the preceding year did not exceed 1505 of the poverty level determined by the Bureau of the Census.

First-generation: a) An individual, neither of whom’s parents completed a baccalaureate degree; or b) An individual who resided with and received support from parent(s) who did not complete a baccalaureate degree.
