$100K Grant for Nursing Scholarships
The Louis and Rachel Rudin Foundation has awarded Bronx Community College a $100,000 grant for nursing scholarships—the largest single gift the Foundation has ever given BCC.
Since 1981, the Foundation has contributed over $2.45 million to help aspiring nurses achieve their goals.
New scholarship opportunity for BCC students!
The Santander Scholars Fund is offering scholarships of $1,000–$5,000 for Spring 2026!
Eligible students must demonstrate financial need and maintain good academic standing.

We are proud to share that Doris González, Executive VP of NYS Higher Education Services Corporation and BCC Foundation Board member, has been named to City & State’s 2025 Responsible 100!
Doris makes college dreams possible by overseeing financial aid programs and mentoring Bronx middle school students through Gov. Kathy Hochul’s Latina Mentoring Initiative—empowering the next generation to aim high.
Future Auto Technicians get their Start at BCC
Bronx Community College's Automotive Technology Program is preparing the next generation of automotive professionals through ASE accreditation, hands-on training, and real-world internships.
These programs ensure graduates are ready for immediate opportunities in the automotive industry.

Holiday magic at the Early Childhood Center!
From festive activities to Santa’s visit, our little Broncos enjoyed gifts from BCC individuals and departments including the Early Childhood Center, the BCC IT Department, and the Association of Latino Faculty & Staff—and shared holiday breakfasts with their families.
