The College sends student enrollment data to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) during the first week of each semester and then every two weeks after that. Online certifications, proof of enrollment and loan deferment information for any semester that has not yet started will not be available online.
If you need an enrollment verification letter, you can request it via CUNYFirst–> Student Center–> Transcript & Verification –> Request Enrollment Verification.
The following information is intended for employers, scholarships, insurance companies, third parties and other agencies needing certification of student enrollment and degree verification at Bronx Community College.
The NSC has been authorized to act as our agent for certification of enrollments and degree verifications for students who attended or graduated. Please direct all requests for certification of attendance or graduation to the NSC
The NSC service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day online. All faxes must include the student’s signed and dated consent.
In-Person Request for Verification
Government agencies, employers and individuals (parents and spouses) must follow the protocol described below when requesting student information in person:
- Any agency or individual wishing to retrieve student information in person must have a release form signed by the student and must see General Council on campus, Language Hall, 3rd Floor, Room 37, 718-289-5102.
- The Registrar’s Office will not release any information until General Council has approved the request.
