Dr. Alexander Ott Appointed Dean of Curriculum Advancement and Student Achievement
BCC announces the appointment of Dr. Alexander Ott as Dean of Curriculum Advancement and Student Achievement, effective immediately. In his new role, he will lead curriculum innovation and advance student success initiatives across the College.
A longtime BCC leader, Dr. Ott brings more than 20 years of higher education experience and most recently served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for Curriculum Matters and Academic Programs.
BCC Professor Publishes Peer-Reviewed COVID-19 Research
BCC congratulates Dr. Diane P. Banks on the publication of her latest peer-reviewed research in the journal COVID. Under her leadership, the Medical Laboratory Technology Program celebrated its largest graduating class in its 55-year history.

A proud BCC alumnus and longtime faculty member, Prof. Jaijairam was recognized for his commitment to teaching excellence and student success after first earning the organization's Region 1 Teaching Excellence Award.
DASNY President Tours BCC Capital Projects
President Larry D. Johnson, Jr. welcomed DASNY President and CEO Robert J. Rodriguez for a tour of campus projects that will modernize student services, improve accessibility, and expand workforce development opportunities.
