BCC congratulates Dr. Diane P. Banks
Dr. Diane P. Banks, Professor in the Allied Health Sciences Department and Program Director of the Medical Laboratory Technician Program.
Dr. Banks was honored by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, State Senator Jamaal Bailey, NYC Council Member Kevin Riley, and U.S. Congressman Ritchie Torres with four awards for her work educating the Bronx community on the history of Black Americans and their contributions to medical laboratory science.

We were proud to celebrate two exceptional alumni and Foundation Board members, Fleriser Bello and Amaurys Grullon, who were honored at this year’s Duarte Honors in recognition of Dominican Heritage Month and presented by the Dominican-American Network of Young Professionals (DANYP).
They represent the very best of who we are. Congratulations to both on this well-earned recognition and for continuing to lead with impact.
BCC Celebrates a Championship Moment 🏆
For the first time since the 2014–2015 season, the Bronx Community College Women’s Basketball team captured the CUNY Community College division championship, defeating Kingsborough 79–57 at Borough of Manhattan Community College.
We are proud of our student‑athletes, coaches, and the entire athletics community for representing BCC with excellence.
