After one or more semesters of absence from the college, a student must apply for readmission.
Application for Readmission can be downloaded or picked up at the Registrar’s Office, Colston Hall, Room 513. If a student has a “HOLD” on their record, it must be cleared prior to submitting the Readmission Application.
The current fee for readmission is $10.00 (no personal checks or credit cards accepted). The $10.00 re-admission fee is non-refundable. Payments must be made at the Bursar's Office, Colston Hall, and Main Lobby.

If you attended another college during your absence from BCC, you may be eligible for transfer credits. Students should send an official transcript to the Admissions Office, Transfer Evaluation, Bronx Community College 2155, University Avenue, Bronx, New York 10453 Attn: Mr. Esteban Rodriguez for review.
If your cumulative Grade Point Average is 2.0 or higher, students will be notified of the status of their application in writing.

Residency Requirements for Tuition Purposes
Students who are returning to BCC after an absence of one year must prove New York State and New York City residency. Click here for Residency for Tuition Purposes document.
If you live in New York State, but not in the five boroughs of New York City you may qualify for resident tuition by submitting a Certificate of Residency. To obtain a Certificate of Residency, contact the County Clerk or Department of Finance in your home county.
