What is CUNY Reconnect?

CUNY Reconnect is a program designed to support adults in continuing their higher education. Its goal is to assist working-age individuals who left CUNY before completing a degree, helping them return to finish and expand their career opportunities and income potential.

Whether you’ve never been to college, started but didn’t graduate, or are seeking a career change or advancement, it’s time to Reconnect with Bronx Community College!

How Do I Reconnect to CUNY at Bronx Community College?

The process depends on your student status:

1. If you left BCC for one or more semesters:

   • Submit the Readmission Application to return.

   • Be sure to clear any financial “HOLDS” on your record before applying.

   • Our staff can assist you in resolving account issues if you need guidance.

2. If you’ve never attended BCC:

   • Apply as a new or transfer student (if you have credits from another college).

3. If you’ve already earned a degree:

   • You may apply for a second degree program, or

   • Register as a non-degree student to take individual courses.

4. Residency Requirements:

   • If you have not attended BCC for two or more semesters, you may need to re-establish your residency for tuition purposes.
