On-Campus Recruitment and Job Fairs
Visiting 4-year colleges will often recruit on campus, meeting several students in a few hours. The most talented students tend to seek out those schools who have established a presence on campus. To ensure the widest exposure possible, we promote other colleges and universities, advertising the degrees offered prior to their visit. We offer several ways to recruit on campus.
Career Development and Transfer Services also hosts on-campus job fairs, for students to meet directly with prospective employers about internships, part- and full-time positions in the NYC area. Students should dress in business attire and bring their resumé, to browse possible employment opportunities. Job fairs are exciting events often attended by 300 to 400 students or more.
Transfer Advisement Sessions and Direct Admit Day
Transfer Advisement sessions and Direct Admit Day events offer an opportunity to fully discuss the transfer, admissions and financial aid process with individual students by appointment only. At these sessions, students will provide all of their transcripts and they will be able to receive an instant admission decision, as well as scholarship information.
Transfer Talk sessions are about an hour long and offer an opportunity to fully discuss the transfer, admissions and financial aid process with an intimate group of students interested in other CUNY colleges and universities.
We host our fairs once a semester to provide our students with a variety of transfer options. About 300-400 students attend our fairs every semester.
