Is College Discovery Right for You? The College Discovery (CD) Program provides services to select students who show potential for success but would benefit from additional academic and financial assistance.
CUNY EDGE (Educate, Develop, Graduate, and Empower) is a program offered through a collaboration between the City University of New York (CUNY) and HRA (Human Resource Administration) that aims to support and empower students who receive cash assistance while enrolled in CUNY.
CUNY Start is an intensive and affordable semester-long program for Bronx Community College students who need to increase their Math and English proficiency levels before starting credited courses.
The First Year Program has your back and creates a supportive space for new college students.
We offer academically enriching and enhanced experiences to highly motivated and qualified students. You can take designated honors courses, honors contracts in regular courses and enroll in the Honors Scholars Program.
Independent Studies may be pursued by students who wish to design a project of their own, in consultation with a faculty sponsor, either in a specific discipline or on an interdisciplinary basis.
Math Start is an accelerated 8-week intensive remedial math program that prepares you for college success by actualizing your full math potential.
The Adult Basic Education and Training Program provides FREE services to adults who are seeking to improve their English language skills (ESOL), get a high school diploma (HSE), and to those who are displaced because of loss of income (DHP).
The Future Now Program offers free HSE and vocational training classes, student counseling and career exploration, along with college preparation and enrollment services to students ages 17 to 24.
The Bronx Community College Upward Bound Program is a federal grant program funded by the United States Department of Education (USDOE) and is designed to generate the skills and motivation necessary for success in education beyond high school.
The Collaborative Educational Programs Department at Bronx Community College is the umbrella office for BCC educational initiatives focused on developing partnership and collaboration with grades K -12 public schools, community-based agencies, and local art programs.
Early College Initiative is a joint program with the Department of Education and BCC where high school students at Inwood Early College (IEC) can earn college credit and potentially graduate with an Associates Degree in either Cybersecurity or Liberal Arts – Biology option.
College Now is a collaborative program between the City University of New York (CUNY) and the New York City Department of Education (DOE). It is a FREE transition program for qualified NYC public high school students.
